Space

Space refers to the vast, seemingly infinite expanse that exists beyond the Earth’s atmosphere. It encompasses all celestial bodies, including stars, planets, moons, asteroids, and galaxies, as well as the physical universe beyond them. In a more abstract sense, space can also refer to the three-dimensional extent in which objects and events occur and where physical phenomena exist. It is characterized by the absence of matter, where conditions of vacuum prevail. Space plays a critical role in various fields, including astronomy, physics, and cosmology, as it provides the context for understanding the structure, evolution, and dynamics of the universe. It is also significant in discussions of time, gravity, and the fundamental forces of nature.
