Stellantis

Stellantis is an automotive manufacturing corporation formed from the merger of the Italian-American automaker Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and the French automobile manufacturer PSA Group. The name “Stellantis” derives from the Latin verb “stello,” which means “to sparkle” or “to brighten with stars.” The company, established in January 2021, is one of the largest automotive groups in the world, producing a wide range of vehicles under various brand names, including Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, Peugeot, Citroën, and Opel, among others. Stellantis aims to leverage its global portfolio to enhance innovation, sustainability, and mobility solutions in the automotive industry. The merger allows for increased efficiency, resource sharing, and a broader footprint in both the conventional and electric vehicle markets.
