Tesla

Tesla refers to several concepts, most notably the American electric vehicle and clean energy company Tesla, Inc. Founded in 2003, the company is named after the inventor and electrical engineer Nikola Tesla, who is known for his contributions to the development of alternating current (AC) electrical systems. The unit of magnetic flux density in the International System of Units is also named “tesla” in his honor.
